How our grotto magic works



Elf welcome

Once you step foot into our Newark North Pole you will be welcomed by the Elf Squad, who will make sure you are ready to enjoy your full experience!



Treats and drinks

Then there will be time to enjoy a drink and a delicious treat while you write your letter to Santa before your chat.


Visit Santa!

When your turn arrives, an Elf will escort you and your family through the winter wonderland into Santa’s magical grotto to meet the man himself!
If you have more than one child, they can all chat to Santa at the same time. However, each child will receive their own gift so you will need to book and pay for a session for each child as per the booking buttons below.

Arrival of Santa Experience

Sat 23 Nov | 1.30pm – 4pm

Watch the magic of Santa arriving into Newark on his sleigh for the start of the 2024 Grotto, through the Market Square courtesy of the elves from Newark Round Table.

Once he has arrived at the Town Hall you will be escorted in to have a Christmas Disco and games with the Elves and a Christmas themed party tea. You will also have the chance to meet with Santa himself where he will hand out gifts to all children.
The Adults will get a mince pie and mulled wine on arrival and the bar will be open to purchase further drinks throughout the event.

Santa’s Grotto Experience

Includes a 10-minute chat with Santa, a high-quality age-appropriate gift, a digital photograph of your child or family with Santa and a few extra treats from the Elves.

There will be the option to have a printed copy of your photo on site for an additional £5.
